Thwaites Glacier Geophysical Survey
| As part of the international Thwaites Glacier collaboration, we traversed from WAIS Divide to "GHOST Ridge" (the furthest downstream uncrevassed region on Thwaites Glacier). From there, we collected swath radar data and vibroseis seismic profiles along and across Thwaites Glacier to better understand the distribution of sediment under Thwaites, and improve projections of future ice sheet retreat. |
